Oh my! This slide show brings back memories of anticipating his performance every week, and then sitting on pins and needles until I knew he was safe!
He looked so young and naieve back then. I’m sure he’s learned a lot of difficult lessons along the way, but I’m happy that that his career keeps rolling along.
I look forward to what he will bring to us in 2009.
Lots of memories of AI2!! I remember practically holding my breath when Clay performed each week and hoping he would do well. He never let us down, never hit a clunker–he was perfection. There has never been a contestant or a season like that since and no matter what AI does they can’t quite get that excitement back from year to year.
I couldn’t agree with you more. I too was on pins and needles each week awaiting to see the most charismatic Idol to have ever graced that stage.-Clsy Aiken.The show will never be the same again. All of the innocence has gone.Now you have semi-professionals who want another crack at stardom.It’s beginning to look like all the other reality shows with all the drama.
Such great memories from all of these slideshows! Clay continues to amaze me in all that he does and I can’t wait to see what he has in store for all of us in 2009!
